A very special new launch is planned for 2020. The BAV Institute is working on the development of a semi-quantitative analysis method which detects Listeria spp. and Listeria monocytogenes in food within 6 hours!

The BAV Institute offers accredited and validated rapid methods for the most relevant microbiological test parameters in food, in addition to the classical ISO methods.

This is especially true for classic pathogenic bacteria such as:

Salmonella in 24h

Listeria spp. and Listeria monocytogenes in 24h

STEC/EHEC in 24h

Cronobacter spp. in 24h

Thermophilic Campylobacter in 48h

BAV also offers rapid methods for quantitative analysis parameters:

Presumptive Bacillus cereus in 24h

Coagulase-positive staphylococci in 24h

Yeasts and moulds in 72h

The results for germ identification and confirmation using Maldi-Tof are available within a few minutes!
