CALGARY, ALBERTA — (Marketwired) — 05/08/13 — Superior Propane–s Pink Truck program delivered over 17 million litres of propane to customers in 2012, generating a total company donation of $53,087.11 to (CBCF) organizations across the country. The annual donation is part of an ongoing program wherein Superior donates a portion of a cent from every litre of propane delivered by one of its highly visible pink trucks. Superior has donated a total of $165,741.11 over the past three years.

Superior operates two Pink Trucks in Ontario, one in British Columbia, one in Alberta and one in Atlantic Canada. With every Pink Truck delivery, customers receive a note advising them that the propane they received is helping to create a future without breast cancer. In addition to making deliveries, the Pink Trucks also make regular appearances in parades, tradeshows and community events to raise awareness and additional funds.
