NIBA Member Firms Syndicate IPO for Methes Energies

ATHENS, GA — (Marketwire) — 11/01/12 — An Initial Public Offering for , a recent presenter, was completed by NIBA member firms including , (NASDAQ: PLCC) and Barrett & Company. Other NIBA member firms included in the syndicate were J.P. Turner, ViewTrade Securities, Dawson James, Finance 500, JHS Capital, Joseph Gunnar, Myers and Associates, and Westpark. Methes has presented twice at NIBA, once in Boston in August 2011 and most recently in New York in September 2012.

On October 29, 2012, Methes Energies Intl. (NASDAQ: MEILU) announced the closing of its initial public offering of 560,000 units of its common stock at a price to the public of $5.00 per unit, which included one share of common stock, one Class A redeemable common stock purchase warrant and one Class B redeemable common stock purchase warrant. The units will trade on the NASDAQ Capital Market under the symbol “MEILU” until November 26, 2012. Beginning on November 26, 2012, Methes Energies International–s common stock, Class A warrants and Class B warrants will trade under the symbols “MEIL,” “MEILW” and “MEILZ,” respectively. Once separate trading in the common stock and warrants commences, the units will cease trading and will be delisted.

The company intends to use the net proceeds of the offering for the purchase of production and storage equipment and upgrade of rail tracks at its Sombra facility, for marketing and sales expenses and working capital required for general corporate purposes.
