In contrast to the solarimeter named Sunmeter that Soluzione Solare presented last year at the 24th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference in Hamburg, the electronics of the Litemeter are analogical and the product is more similar to solarimeters based on calibrated cells.
The Litemeter shows the solar irradiation with an aberration of less than five percent and costs less than 100 Euro. It runs autonomously, therefore no external power supply is needed. Soluzione Solare presents the Litemeter for the first time at the Intersolar Europe in June and will launch it from then on in Europe and worldwide.

Making use of a special light source and a PC, it will be possible in an interactive way to experience the specifics and the differences of the Litemeter in comparison to the Sunmeter and other light sensors at the world´s largest trade fair for solar technology. Soluzione Solare will display its products from 9 to 11 June at the Intersolar Europe in Munich in hall A3, booth number 344.
