LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM — (Marketwire) — 05/24/12 — Leading independent UK energy supplier First Utility () has introduced a new market-leading fixed tariff – iSave Fixed Price v2(i).
With an average annual tariff of GBP 1,047, the new dual fuel deal will reassure customers looking for security on their bills with an energy price fixed until September 2013.
The introduction means that First Utility now offers both the UK–s overall deal, the iSave v10(ii) (GBP 1,027) and the UK–s cheapest fixed-price energy deal (GBP 1,047). These values are inclusive of First Utility–s dual fuel discount, which customers receive after each 12 month period they spend with the company.

In 2011 announced a partnership with Opower, the leading US efficiency and smart grid software company, to create a programme which could reduce UK households– energy bills by as much as GBP 400 million each year. The service is expected to go live later this year.
