Frost & Sullivan awards first prize to Sputnik Engineering

Biel, 16 November 2010. Today, Sputnik Engineering has received the prestigious Frost & Sullivan Award. The analysts with the global research platform examined the price/performance ratio, the features, the user friendliness, service and customer orientation of the Swiss manufacturer and compared them with the achievements of its most important competitors in the market for inverters. Today, based on the results, Sputnik has received the “Global Price Performance Value Leadership of the Year Award 2010“.

“Sputnik Engineering is following sustainable market strategies to offer its customers the greatest value at a competitive price“, explained Nathan Halabrin of Frost & Sullivan. “With its high-quality and reliable solutions Sputnik is one of the few companies in the field of renewable energies that optimally meets the expectations of its customers.“

Frost & Sullivan based its analysis on quantitative and qualitative measurements. The research philosophy is based on the “CEO 360-Degree-Perspective“ which delivers a clear picture of the business environment. The decision matrix follows a10-point scale which allows the performance of each company to be objectively analysed using various, distinctively weighted criteria in comparison with the most important competitors. “By awarding us this prize Frost & Sullivan has confirmed the goals we have set for ourselves,“ said a clearly pleased Sputnik managing director Christoph von Bergen. “It is based on an attractive price/performance ratio, long-term partnerships and our leadership role in the areas of quality and after sales service.“
