F4SS Announces Continuous Improvement Conference in Chicago, IL

OAKLAND, NJ — (Marketwire) — 07/28/11 — The F4SS (Foundation for Strategic Sourcing), a non-profit organization serving the upstream Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) supply chain, has announced its next member conference to be held September 19-21, 2011 in Chicago, IL.

The Conference theme is Continuous Improvement. The Featured Speaker will be Brian Stofflet, Unilever–s Procurement Operations Director, North America. Brian will provide insights to the program and explain how it–s changing the way Unilever Procurement interacts with its supply partners and internal business partners.

Attendees will benefit from insightful presentations from such reputable speakers as Tom Fink, former co-founder and leader for Honda–s “Lean Network”; Tom Easterday, Executive Vice President at Subaru Automotive of Indiana; Robert Lim, Vice President, Demand and Supply Planning of Del Monte; just to name a few.

The venue for the conference is Trump International Hotel Chicago. The opening reception will take place on September 19 at the magnificent Skyline Room within the Trump Hotel.

“As an organization, F4SS has made great progress in Continuous Improvement this year as we work to foster a high level of trust and collaboration between Suppliers and Customers through our recently announced Continuous Improvement Network. The Network promotes continued development of a CI orientation within the industry through the sharing of capabilities and learning. It was only fitting that we continue the trend and have Continuous Improvement as the theme of our Fall Conference,” stated Lisa Shambro, Executive Director of F4SS.

F4SS has introduced an incentive to F4SS Members to register early. Registration for F4SS Members that register on or before August 15, 2011 is $999.00; $1199.00 after August 15, 2011.
