enXco Announces Kristina Peterson to Join as Vice President of the Solar Business Unit

SAN DIEGO, CA — (Marketwire) — 07/18/11 — enXco — an EDF Energies Nouvelles Company (PARIS: EEN) is pleased to announce the addition of as Vice President of the Solar Business Unit. In this position she will provide strategic leadership and direction to enXco–s growing solar PV business.

Ms. Peterson joins enXco from Suntech Power Holdings of China, a leading global solar panel manufacturer, where as Vice President, Business Development and Project Finance, she was instrumental in establishing Suntech–s operations in the U.S., growing Suntech–s U.S. market share substantially within three years. During her tenure, she was responsible for M&A activities, project development, corporate finance, and credit portfolio management. She also served as President of Suntech–s joint venture development company with MMA Renewable Ventures and acted as key U.S. contact for Suntech–s Chinese bank relationships.

Two additional new hires were also recently announced. joined enXco as Director of Solar Innovation after having worked for Albuquerque-based Emcore Solar Power. This newly created position is focused on identifying, assessing and implementing innovative solar solutions to ensure the technology deployed represents the most cost effective for both the utility-scale and distributed generation markets. brings over 10 years of experience in the solar and commercial construction industry, most recently at Q-Cells International, to his new role as enXco–s Manager of Solar Engineering and Construction.
