PRINCETON, NJ — (Marketwire) — 10/05/11 — Dynamic Air Quality Solutions, a leading manufacturer and distributor of high-performance indoor air quality products, today announced its selection by readers of Environmental Design + Construction (ed+c) and Sustainable Facility as one of the best products in 2011. Dynamic–s V8 Air Cleaning System was selected as the winner in the Mechanical/HVAC Products category.
In 2008, ed+c and Sustainable Facility magazines embarked on an online awards contest that gives manufacturers a chance to see how their products stack up in the eyes of the magazines– readers, voting for the crème de la crème of green building products that best combine sustainable attributes with ease of use and installation.
The Dynamic V8–s unique technology controls all three types of indoor contaminants: particle, biological and gaseous. Compared to traditional alternatives, the air cleaning system uses two thirds less energy, has a maintenance cycle that is measured in years rather than months, and can provide an indoor environment with air cleaner than the air outside. The Dynamic V8 has been installed in over 50 LEED projects, including ASHRAE Headquarters, and helps earn LEED points in both IEQ (MERV 13) and Energy and Atmosphere (90.1 fan horsepower requirements).
“Now in our fourth year, these awards represent the best of the best in sustainable building products,” said Derrick Teal, editor for ed+c and Sustainable Facility. “We are pleased with the selections our readers made, and look forward to showcasing Dynamic and all of the other winners at Greenbuild this week.”
“Selection by the readers of ed+c and Sustainable Facility, the users of our products, is quite an honor,” said Duke Wiser, president of Dynamic. “Our air cleaning system is an excellent tool in terms of reducing the energy and environmental footprint of an HVAC system. Thanks to the readers for voting us the winner this year.”
Winners will be highlighted in the October issues of each magazine.
Dynamic Air Quality Solutions manufactures and distributes high-performance indoor air quality products including polarized media air cleaners, UV-C germicidal systems, and condensate pan treatments for residential and commercial applications. The company–s products are used in applications that range from hospitals and schools to restaurants and casinos.
