City of Moreno Valley, California Adopts Premier Holding Corp.–s E-Series and LiteOwl Energy Saving Technologies

TUSTIN, CA — (Marketwired) — 07/22/13 — Premier Holding Corp. (OTCQB: PRHL) (the “Company”) today announced that Muni-Fed Energy, Inc. (“Muni-Fed”), in accordance with its manufacturing and reseller–s agreement announced in November 2012, has entered into a lease agreement with the City of Moreno Valley, for 178 of Energy Efficiency Expert–s (“E3”) E-Series modules and its award-winning LiteOwl energy savings device specifically designed for Streetlights. The LiteOwl will be implemented throughout 1,300 of the city–s streetlights.

Randall Letcavage, CEO of Premier Holding Corp., said, “We are extremely pleased to see that our partnership with Muni-Fed is producing tremendous results in the municipal market channel. We estimate that there are 35 million streetlights in the U.S. that are a great fit for LiteOwl, and through Muni-Fed–s efforts, advocacy and support, we expect to become a leading player in this billion dollar-plus market.”

Premier–s E3 Technology is the basis for some of the most energy-efficient lighting control products within the industry for existing HID lamps, providing reliable, cost-effective solutions, with a typical 25 percent (plus) energy savings. The products based on this technology include the E-Series (energy conservation modules for commercial and industrial buildings, high bay indoor and high mast outdoor lighting), LiteHawk (energy saving lighting controls for strings of street lights, parking lot lights and lighted outdoor media signage) and LiteOwl (energy saving lighting controls for an individual street light with a standard photocell). These products allow lighting users to enjoy significant reductions in their energy consumption without the high degree of complexity, cost and risk often associated with new and ever-changing lighting retrofit strategies. Making some of the most efficient lamps in the world even more efficient, these lighting controls are elegant upgrades to existing lighting systems.

Phil Bowman, President and CEO of Muni-Fed Energy, said, “We are pleased to provide a great solution for our friends at the City of Moreno Valley. Of all the products we offer, these two products from E3 were a perfect prescription for this city. The low product cost, high reliability and decades long useful life allows the city to prudently evaluate the wave of new lighting efficiency technology while immediately reducing 25% of its energy consumption.”
