Cabot, Biggest Marcellus Gas Producer, Acts to Secure Further Growth, an Industrial Info News Alert

Cabot is producing about 1.2 billion cubic feet of gas per day (Bcf/d) in the Marcellus, a number that continues to grow. Last month, it added a sixth drilling rig in that formation. Gas production from the sixth rig is not expected to come online until next year, the company said.
