Jamaica Government Enters Partnership with ECCO2 Global Partners to Aid Post-2015 Goals of the United Nations

MONTEGO BAY, JAMAICA — (Marketwired) — 11/08/13 — approved witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding agreement with Environmental Control of Carbon Dioxide Jamaica (ECCO2 Jamaica), a Kingston-based non-governmental organization (NGO) and , , and Concile Mondial de Congres Diplomatiques des Aumoniers pour la Paix Universelle des Droits Humains et Juridiques, collectively who are International Member Organizations to the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), United Nations Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) for program development to support Millennium Development Goals of the United Nations within Jamaica.

The Programme will provide as much as $268 million (USD) in loan guarantees and grants from private sponsors of the Global Banking Community and ECCO2 Global Partners to support local private sectors and NGOs to create job opportunities for Jamaican workers through various industries, which include import-export trade (within a designated a Duty-Free Foreign Trading Zone in Jamaica), agriculture, education, tourism, and healthcare within the country, in hopes to establish solutions that enable meeting Post-2015 goals through year 2020.

Programme schedule events and activities will be posted at local and national government publications, in addition to associated foreign affairs publicised at the United Nations and affiliated parties.
