Greenway Design Group Announces Cool-n-Save Is Now in Costa Rica

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — (Marketwire) — 09/14/11 — Greenway Design Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GDGI) today announced that Banco Nacional de Costa Rica has approved the first installation of Cool-n-Save at a branch office in Jaco, CR.

“Our bank is dedicated to the national mission to remain as green as possible,” says Carlos Villalta, the General Manager at the Banco Nacional branch Jaco office. “The best way to help meet that mission is to reduce our energy consumption as much as possible. Cool-n-Save has clearly demonstrated that it can curtail energy consumption of air conditioning systems in the U.S. and we anticipate that it will succeed here as well.”

Cool-n-Save is an award-winning and patented energy conservation innovation that uses evaporation to pre-cool air and reduces HVAC energy consumption by as much as 30%. Greenway anticipates that Cool-n-Save could help the bank reduce HVAC energy consumption at this location by 26%.

“We–re very excited about Banco Nacional–s gracious invitation to install a system for them in Costa Rica,” says Ben Lefrancois, CEO of Greenway Design Group, Inc. based in Huntington Beach, California. “We believe that energy savings from Cool-n-Save will be significant for them and getting into Central America at this time is a major development for us.”

Banco Nacional, based in San Jose, Costa Rica, is one of the largest banks in Central America and provides a wide range of consumer and business financial services. The bank recently reported nearly $6 billion (USD) in assets. Founded in 1914, the bank operates 164 offices and 37 drive-through banks in Costa Rica.

“Other businesses in the region are also interested in this installation. Keep in mind that Costa Rica is a pioneer in renewable energy sources,” comments Lefrancois. “They are very proud of their independence and they have the admiration of the international community.” But, he points out, Costa Rican ratepayers pay dearly for that independence, about $.26 (USD) per kilowatt hour. “The entire region is looking to energy conservation as an important strategy to keep costs down and that–s something that Cool-n-Save has done for other companies,” he says.

The company has been developing evaporative pre-cool misting technology for commercial and residential air conditioning since 2005. Greenway recently won the Harvey Mudd College/TechAmerica High-Tech Innovation Award for Green Engineering. Cool-n-Save is available for commercial and residential air conditioning systems.

Commercial Cool-n-Save systems also feature HERO, a high-efficiency turn-key water treatment and mechanical filtration system also patented by the company. Cool-n-Save is manufactured and marketed in the U.S.A. For more information about Greenway Design Group, Inc. and Cool-n-Save, call 714-892-0011 or visit and .
