Alpha Wasterwater Starts Construction of Treatment Plant in China Valued at US$24,000,000

VANCOUVER, BC — (Marketwire) — 06/13/12 — Alpha Wastewater Inc. (PINKSHEETS: AWWI), designer and owner of the patented and award winning Upflow Sludge Blanket Filtration (“USBF”) wastewater treatment systems and plants, announced today it completed the agreement on construction and operation of Alpha–s 30 year term BOT (build, operate, transfer) plant to be built at Chengde High Tech Industrial Park. The Agreement was signed between Alpha–s Chinese partner, China Aviation-AVIC and Alpha–s, Beijing Alpha and guaranteed by Alpha Wastewater Inc.

China Aviation is providing 70% financing and 50% of the equity with Alpha Beijing providing the remaining 50% equity. Engineering will be completed in Vancouver, BC, Canada, at Alpha–s North American Licensee–s engineering department at ECOfluid Systems Inc. offices.

Construction will begin immediately on the 50,000 ton/day USBF plant to service an approximately 150,000 population. The land has been transferred to the BOT Joint Venture, surveys are complete, and the soil report is in its final stage.

President Zhu of China Aviation–s Construction and Wastewater Treatment Division pledged expanded financial support for Alpha–s –USBF– wastewater technology in the small and medium plant sector which is the largest sector of China–s wastewater treatment market, estimated to exceed $25 Billion USD.
