Bouygues Energies and Services Awarded Long Term Facility Management Contract at Kelowna International Airport

KELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA — (Marketwired) — 05/01/13 — Bouygues Energies and Services Canada (Bouygues E&S) is delighted to announce that it has entered into a long term partnership agreement with the City of Kelowna for the delivery of facility management and technical building services at the Kelowna International Airport commencing May 1st 2013.

Bouygues E&S provides a wide range of services including building and systems operations and maintenance, janitorial, snow removal, helpdesk, and management services delivered by its own multi skilled service team based on site at Kelowna International Airport. Bouygues-E&S–s services are fully integrated and backed by a 24/7/365 help desk and will be delivered to ISO 9001 Quality Management and ISO 14001 Environmental Management standards. To deliver this full range of facility management and airport specific services, Bouygues E&S has partnered with the Winnipeg Airports Authority, the operator of the recently redeveloped award winning Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport campus.

Kelowna International Airport (YLW), owned and operated by the City of Kelowna, links the Okanagan Valley to the world and shows year over year passenger volume growth. YLW is in the process of expanding its terminal building and the surrounding facilities and infrastructure to support its “Drive to 1.6 Million Passengers Program”. This comprehensive long term facilities management and airport infrastructure agreement will allow the City of Kelowna to benefit from Bouygues E&S–s extensive international energy management and critical infrastructure operations experience to optimise the operational and financial effectiveness of YLW–s future expansion plans.
