SAN JOSE, CA — (Marketwire) — 01/21/13 — RAE Systems Inc., a leading developer of gas and radiation detection systems for , today announced that gas detection industry veteran, Trent Smith, has joined the company.
Smith will become the new director of sales for the Eastern United States and Canada, and will be responsible for the development and growth of sales for RAE Systems– wireless gas and radiation detection systems.
Prior to joining RAE Systems, Smith worked in several safety engineer and safety professional positions, notably in the United States Air Force and the petro-chemical industry. His most recent position was director of sales for Portable Instrumentation at Honeywell Analytics. Smith holds an Occupational Safety and Health Management degree from Louisiana State University.
