Dr. Michael Fübi appointed new CEO of TÜV Rheinland AG

The Supervisory Board of TÜV Rheinland AG has appointed Dr. Michael Fübi (47) as the new Chairman of the Executive Board with effect from January 1, 2015.
After finishing his studies in Dortmund und Aachen and obtaining a doctorate in engineering, Dr. Fübi initially worked in important positions at Babcock Borsig AG and since 2002 at RWE, where his roles included managing climate protection at RWE Power for a four-year period. In January 2010 he was appointed to the management of RWE Technology, where he has been Chief Executive Officer since 2012. RWE Technology is responsible for project development and power plant construction in the RWE Group. Dr. Michael Fübi is currently also the chairman of the Board of Directors of VGB Power Tech (European technical association for power and heat generation).
